Marcelo Hochman, MD
Marcelo Hochman, MD is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is recognized as a regional expert in the comprehensive treatment of migraines and congenital vascular anomalies. Dr. Hochman did his residency in Head/Neck Surgery at Stanford Medical Center and 2 subsequent fellowships, one in adult and the other in pediatric facial surgery at Washington University in St Louis and Arkansas Children's Hospital respectively. He was the Director of Facial Plastic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina for 10 years and then opened his private practices, The Facial Surgery Center, The Migraine Treatment Center and The Hemangioma & Malformation Treatment Center.
He is a frequent contributor to the medical literature and has been recognized continuously by his peers in the Best Doctors in America list since 1990. Dr. Hochman was honored with The Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina's highest civilian award and the Community Service Award of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery both his charitable work. His interest in the field of migraine relief comes from his personal experience with family members who suffer from chronic migraines.
