Lisa Gfrerer, MD, PhD

With a background in genetic basic scientific research and clinical outcomes research, Dr. Gfrerer established the Migraine Surgery Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in 2014. Through this program, hundreds of migraine patients have been screened for and undergone migraine surgery. Dr. Gfrerer oversees and collaborates on both national and international clinical and basic scientific research projects that focus on patient screening, PROMs and the pathogenesis of migraine.
